SY-2013-2014 PACSB-­‐UE Faculty Seminar: Entrepreneurial Franchising University of the East, Manila January 17 Mr. Cirni Gecosala, a Business faculty, attended and represented the department in the faculty seminar sponsored by the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PASCB) in cooperation with the University of the East last January 17 at the University of the East, CM Recto, Manila. Topic discussed was the Entrepreneurial Franchising. 38th Foundation Day CCASE-­‐CBALTCH Day Intramural Awarding Ceremony January 23-­‐25, 2014 Olivarez College celebrated its 38th Foundation day last January 23-­‐25, 2014. It was started with a Holy Mass on the first day of celebration last January 23 and was followed by so many activities sponsored by different departments. The College of Business Administration sponsored the “The Amazing Race: On-­‐the-­‐Spot-­‐ Product Making Contest” and the “Name That Logo Wizard-­‐2014”. Likewise, the students of College of Business participated in various contests held during the celebration and won some of these contests. They shared food with their teachers during their lunch. Intramural Awarding Ceremony Several sports competitions were joined and participated by students of College of Business Administration for the Team Negosyante, the college’s students organization. This is their back-­‐to-­‐back championship title in basketball for two consecutive years. La Torre was awarded the Most Valuable Player for the year. The Team Negosyante of the College of Business Administration receiving their Championship trophy in Basketball during the awarding ceremony of the concluded Intramural 2013-­‐2014 at the OC Gymnasium last January 24, 2014.
