(IWSDA’15) will be held at Bengaluru, India, from September 13 –18, 2015. The IWSDA workshop
series dates back to September 2001 in Chengdu, China, and since 2005 has been held every 2 years
in Yamaguchi, Japan, Chengdu, China, Fukuoka, Japan, Guilin China, and Tokyo, Japan, respectively.
The aim of the workshop series is to foster fruitful interactions among signal designers, coding
theorists, cryptographic researchers and communications practitioners from all over the world. A
special feature of this particular workshop is a session that will celebrate the 60th birthday of P.
Vijay Kumar.
Topics
The topics of this workshop include, but are not limited to, the topics listed below:
 Big Data Analytics
 Coding for Communication and Storage
 Coding Theory
 Combinatorial Structures for Code &
Sequence Design
 Communication Theory
 Complexity and Computation Theory
 Compressive Sensing and Sparsity
 Cryptography, Privacy and Security
 Detection and Estimation
 Network Coding and Applications
 Sequences
 Space-Time Codes

above format via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iwsda2015. Submissions should contain
enough detail for peer review and must not substantially duplicate work submitted to another journal
or conference proceedings. If you would like to be considered for the special session to celebrate Prof.
Vijay Kumar birthday, please append the phrase “To be considered for the Special Session celebrating
Prof. Kumar’s birthday”, to the abstract on the submission page.
Conference Proceedings
It is planned to have the conference proceedings of IWSDA'15 published by IEEE Press and be
indexed by the Engineering Index (Ei). It is also planned to have selected full papers published in a
special issue of the IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals.
