The Graduate Program for Area Studies (GPAS) is a special program for Area Studies
sponsored by the Korea Institute of International Economic Policy (KIEP), a
government-funded research institution in Korea. This program is designed for students
who wish to study specific regions and countries, including Africa, by awarding
financial support for special lectures, student workshops, and field research.
