The WhirlwindX telecoms applications appliance provides rapid deployment of custom IVR telephony solutions for
telcos, service providers, and government.
Call switching, voice, fax and conference services can be deployed in ISDN, SS7, CAS and SIP environments in just a
few minutes.
The WhirlwindX appliance is delivered as either an IVR or administration server in a 2U rack mount format.
High density solutions are easily deployed with multiple IVRs and administration servers pre-configured for your
particular requirements to have your telephony business switching revenue earning calls in the shortest possible time.
With over 23 years experience, we work closely with clients, leveraging our unrivalled solution flexibility to empower
your business with innovation and market leadership.
Example Applications
Fax Server – for service providers looking for large volume scalable fax broadcasting, email-to-fax and fax-to-email
services. Includes highly granular telco grade queue management. Our XML based API enables real time interaction
with your own systems, alternatively use our multi-tiered provisioning, administration and end user interface services.
Virtual Office - for service providers offering cloud IVR, pay by phone, call forwarding, phone & fax broadcast and
operator answer services. Options include follow-me/find-me, voicemail2email, time-of-day routing, phone broadcast,
fax2email, email2fax, fax broadcast, reminder calls, call recording, IVR builder, credit card payment IVR, real time
provisioning, white labeling end user interface for real time service management and reporting.
PremiumPlus – for premium rate 190 service providers wanting maximum flexibility, control and visibility of their
services, customers and revenue. Includes live call monitoring, real time reporting and revenue tracking, fully integrated
premium rate and credit card payment services, configurable operator groups, black listing, remote logins, multi-tiered
interface and much more.
Emergency Alerting – for service providers and government seeking a telco grade alerting solution to broadcast
voice, email and SMS messages to mass target audiences. Includes real time broadcast status reporting, multi-tiered
user interfaces and highly configurable management of preferences.
Phone Payment Services – for telcos, government and systems integrators seeking a turn-key IVR credit card
payment service with the call flow highly customized to their specification. Integration with remote systems and different
payment gateways is provided quickly and easily via our range of flexible APIs.
Programmable Switch – for systems integrators and service providers seeking to write their own telephony services
quickly and easily to run simultaneously in ISDN, SS7, CAS and SIP networks. Includes the on board Telco Perl
application engine enabling you to write voice and fax telephony scripts using the incredibly flexible open source Perl
language. Telco Perl then compiles and caches these scripts to run in the telco-grade WhirlwindX appliances for
continuous running, thereby combining maximum application flexibility with telco grade performance.
