RUTGERS BUSINESS SCHOOL - NEWARK & NEW BRUNSWICK Assistant Professor Position in Entrepreneurship The Department of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Entrepreneurship starting in September 2016. Strong candidates will demonstrate outstanding research capabilities and have an active research program, have the potential to the excellent in teaching undergraduate and MBA level courses, and desire to help entrepreneurship make our communities and the world a better place. Applicants should have a doctoral degree granted or nearly completed (i.e., ABD). The newly-formed Rutgers Advanced Institute for the Study of Entrepreneurship and Development (RAISED) incorporates and builds upon four flourishing initiatives: The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development, the New Jersey Social Innovation Institute, the Rutgers Technology Management Research Center, and the Collaborative for Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization. The scope of our activities – ranging from the most disadvantaged to the most advantaged contexts for entrepreneurship – is as broad as that of any university on the planet. The successful candidate will work with a group of talented researchers and teachers whose current expertise spans the areas of social entrepreneurship, urban entrepreneurship, and technology entrepreneurship and commercialization. Our group also works with a talented group of PhD students pursuing careers in entrepreneurship research and hosts visiting scholars from around the world. Teaching will include undergraduate and graduate courses and supervision of doctoral students. In addition to faculty associated with RAISED, the Department of Management and Global Business has world-renowned faculty with specialties in strategy, international business, ethics and corporate social responsibility, cross cultural management, diversity, organization behavior, and organizational justice.
