Job Description
Cumulus Nashville has a rare opening for an experienced General Sales Manager to help drive
Nashville’s country stations NASH (103.3 WKDF-FM) and NASH ICON (95.5 WSM-FM). In this position,
the ideal candidate will drive business development, recruit, train, motivate and retain the local sales staff,
price and manage all inventory analytics and be the brand’s most visible face to Nashville’s business
community. NASH (WKDF) and NASH ICON (WSM) are Nashville’s leading country stations.

organization committed to marketing excellence and unwavering customer service. At your disposal will
be leading-edge software, digital sales support, seller training modules and comprehensive market
research tools; in short, everything you and your sellers need to be successful.

Current line management of 10+ sales organization or recently-promoted senior sales leaders.
Experience should be heavily grounded in out-bound sales activity. Demonstrated “account
management” skills
Demonstrated expertise in new business development.
Ability to cultivate long lasting customer relationships with mutual residual benefit.
A recognized top-performer, high-energy/hard charging personality with strong goal-orientation
and ability to coach/mentor.

5-10 years of steady progression as a sales leader:
2-3 yrs experience as a sales manager or higher. Responsible for strategic account planning and
basic understanding of financial statements.
5 yrs experience managing an outside b2b sales force in an organization which has a highly
structured training program & focused goal-orientation
Strong understanding of lead generation, CRM/SFA and account mgmt.
