Concession Stand Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Oversees all aspects of the concession operations while providing support to the beverage department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: daily operations, cost control, inventory and staffing of all functions while maintaining the highest standards of quality for all employees, guests, client, products, and services.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:

 Oversees the development of team members, adhering to quality control standards, merchandising standards, consumer relations programs, and other hospitality programs. Ensures all of these policies and procedures are completed timely and accurately.

 Participates in regular planning\review sessions to ensure department goals and expectations are clearly and continually communicated to produce desired client and operational excellence.

 Inventory Management to include: ordering and perpetuals, liquor room organization, and maintenance.

 Ensures all necessary equipment, supplies, and products are ordered timely and are displayed at each point of sale.

 Accurate review of all product reporting; ensures yields are continually updated. Reporting to include: food and beverage sales and inventory, and communication of accountability of supervisor and cashier compliance.

 Ensures all fixed assets are in good working condition and all preventative maintenance, equipment repair logs, and cleaning schedules are completed as necessary.

 Regularly conducts food safety trainings and stand audits to ensure compliance with health inspections.

Continued alcohol compliance and customer service training, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and Aramark alcohol policies.

 Provide cross-departmental support as needed

 Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Operations or General Manager.

Qualifications:

Prior supervisory experience required.

Mathematical skills are required.

Minimum 2 years experience with a POS system, preferably Micros.

Minimum 3 years experience in high volume concession and bar operation.

Ability to interface and effectively communicate with diverse groups of customers, employees and the client.

Strong organizational, time management, work ethic and communication skills. Must be committed to the highest standards of operation.

Strong leadership and training skills.

Must be available to work a minimum of 4 nights per week, week days, weekends and holidays.

Must have working knowledge of excel, word, and ability to learn new applications.

Ability to professionally handle multiple projects and stressful situations simultaneously.

Education:

High school diploma required.

Must be TIPS certified and ServSafe certified.

Attends customer service training and other Aramark trainings as assigned.

Knowledge:

Health & Hygiene knowledge.

Knowledge of rules pertaining to proper food handling and sale of alcohol.
