Aramark  ServiceMaster Vendor Contracts: operations and position functions essentially
unchanged
Directed and implemented major change, turn-around and/or start up of Food Operations and
Nutrition Services - opened new services at Bethany facility in less than 2 months after hire. Position
was ended in 2004 due to cancellation of vendor contract – Invited to re-apply; interviewed and hired again
in preference to outside candidates. Other Accomplishments include, but not limited to the following:





Reducing staff by 19% over three years, and cutting overtime usage by staffing 34 open positions
with payroll employees.
Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for successfully facilitating Wellness/Diabetes
Center from using contract services for diabetes education into a self-managed, in-house operational
program with pertinent policies and procedures
Training and development of both staff and leadership, combined with successful program and system
implementations
Generating improvements in patient satisfaction from 23 percentile ranking, to status of 95%
Spearheading successful Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(JCAHO) survey for hospitals
