Coach Elliott returns to
his alma mater as Head
Men’s Soccer Coach after
masterminding five record
breaking seasons as the head coach of Siena
College. He previously played an integral role in
the URI coaching staff during A10 Tournament
Title Winning years of 2003, 2005 & 2006. In 10
seasons as a collegiate coach he has never been
a part of a losing program. Coach Elliott holds a
UEFA B licence and played professionally in his
native Northern Ireland.

Callum enters his fourth
season as an assistant for
the rams. A 2007 URI
grad and 3-year team
captain, he led URI to Atlantic 10 Tournament
Championships in both 2005 & 2006.

A URI graduate and the
longest tenured member
of the men’s soccer staff,
Coach Bergren enters his
15th season with the Rams
and has been instrumental in the program’s
successes.

David joined Elliott's staff as
the goalkeeper coach in July
of 2013. He was a four-year
player for James Madison
University playing from 200711. He served as team tricaptain in 2010 for the Dukes.
Meiklejohn graduated from
James Madison in 2010.

The Future Rams Academy is an
exceptional residential training camp aimed
at male players who are looking to
compete at a high level of demanding
soccer. Players will experience sessions
similar to those of the URI men’s soccer
team. The sessions will be competitive,
developing tactical and technical abilities at
team and individual levels, as players
prepare for collegiate soccer.
Academy Daily Schedule:
8:00-8:30 AM.....................................Breakfast
9:00-11:30 AM......................Tactical Training
12:00-1:00PM..........................................Lunch
2:00-4:00PM …….............Technical Training
5:00-6:00 PM..........................................Dinner
6:30-8:00 PM..................................Match Play
8:00-9:00 PM .......................................Lecture
11:00 pm..........................................Lights Out

Additional Academy Information
Players will arrive for check-in on July 20th
at Tucker residence Hall between 10am
and 12pm. Departure will be on July 23rd at
12pm. Students will get a feel for life at URI
as they eat in Mainfare Dining Hall, stay in
the residence halls, and tour the campus
during the Academy.
Camp Equipment
Players will receive a camp ball and two
T-shirts for attendance at the Academy. In
addition, players should bring cleats, shin
pads, rain gear, sneakers, training gear,
and GK gloves if applicable. Please note
that we pride ourselves in training and
playing on high quality grass surfaces.
Indoor training may take place in the case
of inclement weather.
