ReServe is offering paid, part-time
positions to serve as Tutors through
a program with the New York City
Department of Education and The
After-School Corporation (TASC).
Tutors will provide daily guided reading
instruction to students in a small group
setting, to supplement and enhance inclass reading assignments.
Being a Tutor will allow you to serve your
community while also earning a modest
stipend.

Professionals with skills, talent, a
bachelor’s degree and generosity
of spirit can use their life
experience and passion for reading,
to provide literacy tutoring for
middle school youth in high-need
public schools.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Avid reader with desire to elicit passion
for reading in youth.
• Able to serve at a NYC public middle
school 5 days per week (15 hours) for
the 2013-2014 school year.
