JOB TITLE: DEPARTMENT: REPORT TO: POSITION: LOCATION: QuickChek Street Team Operations Heather Stillman Ext 7317 As Needed, Part-time, Premium-Paid Hourly Position Long Island, New York JOB SUMMARY: Looking for energetic, well-spoken and outgoing individuals to join the QuickChek Street Team. Team members will work on an as-needed basis, approximately, 4-6 hours per event in the Long Island market. You will interact with community members/future customers to educate and promote the QuickChek story including, but not limited to, giving away products and taking photographs of the event, creating a positive and memorable experience. WAGE: $18.50 per hour. Travel expenses paid (mileage reimbursement, hotel, meals) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Physical demands including, but not limited to stand, walk, jog, sit, climb stairs, kneel, and lift up to 40 pounds. • Must have reliable transportation, a valid of driver's license and proof of insurance. • 1+ years employment with QuickChek. • Willing to work outdoors in any weather condition. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Ability to type brief recap summaries for each event. • Ability to take photos and send to Team Leader for press release. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Social, outgoing, high-energy individual who is enthusiastic about educating community members/future customers about the QuickChek story and product offerings • Great communicator, able to demonstrate/educate individuals about QC social media outlets and encourage participation. • Self-motivator; willing to approach community members/future customers in a friendly and warm manner. JOB POSTING PROCEDURE • Team Member must meet performance standards for their current position. • Team Member will inform their Store Leader/Department Leader of their interest in the position and the team member will then submit a resume to the hiring Leader. • The hiring Leader will phone the Store Leader/Department Leader to get current performance status and advise of their interest to interview the employee. • The current Leader must recommend the team member for further consideration.
