30 things to do before you’re 30!
As Personal Group has turned 30, we decided to ask our staff under 30 years of age, what they
want to do before they reach the big 30!
30 things – expensive experiences
Our under 30s have really excelled themselves in this edition of 30 things! Let’s hope they have
deep pockets to make these things happen.
First up is a stay at the Ritz! The Ritz is easily London’s most famous hotel and it has plenty of
history too. Established in 1906 and situated in Piccadilly, the Ritz became a firm favourite with
Charlie Chaplin and Noel Coward, it was also where Churchill, de Gaulle and Eisenhower met for
summit meetings during the Second World War.
If you are staying at the Ritz you might as well add a private jet to the experience. Why not treat
your friends for your 30th to a flight from London to Cannes in France for just £6435 in your own
small private jet? This is for you and three friends to travel. Once booked you can have the crew
set the atmosphere in the plane, so you can have it calm and romantic, or you can have it in full
blown party mood. You can decide on the entertainment from DVDs to high speed wifi. You can
also have the catering exactly to your taste. Imagine having your 30th birthday cake at 30,000
feet!
The most expensive idea though had to be hiring a private yacht. If you are going to do it you
might as well do it right, so how about hiring the M/Y Alexander which is moored in the
Mediterranean? It is 122-metres long, has 58 crew, sleeps 81 and has a helipad. It costs a
whopping £82,764…per day! A week on-board will cost you approximately half a million.
Our under 30s really have got expensive taste!
