London is one of the easiest cities in the world to get around. With the wonderfully
central location of The Ritz, many major attractions such as galleries, theatres, the best
shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.
However for getting out and about, London offers an excellent underground rail service
(affectionately known as 'The Tube'), a network of buses and, of course, the iconic 'black
cab' taxis.
The nearest underground stations to The Ritz are at Green Park (literally next to the hotel)
and Piccadilly Circus, less than a five-minute walk away. Both stations offer excellent
connections throughout the network. Buses also stop next to the hotel and, as well as
taxis, enjoy special bus and taxi lanes to help speed up journeys. Taxis are always
available from the hotel's own cab rank or can be hailed in the street.
The Ritz is well connected by road and rail links for quick and easy access to both
London Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Transport from the hotel can be arranged
through the Hall Porter.
