The In-ServNOWTM solution is designed for both corporate-wide and per-location ease of use. One person at
the corporate office is designated as the Content Coordinator and is trained by SeniorTV. The same content
may be distributed simultaneously to every location, or individualized content can be sent to specific locations.
Provider locations can be organized into user-defined groups organized as all, state, region, etc. similar to
creating e-mail contact groups, which allow a regional manager to provide communications pertinent to only
those in their region.
How it works:
Content is pushed from the In-ServNOWTM Uploader via the corporate Internet connection to the cloud-based
In-ServNOWTM hosting site. This secure server protects content and insures it is visible only at the designated
location.
The Content Coordinator selects which content files are to be distributed, determines if the content is to be
stored for on-demand access, sets scheduled time and date playback parameters (if automated), and selects
which locations get what content.
Based on the urgency of the information and size of the content files, the time of day for distribution is
determined. Compression is used to minimize bandwidth requirements both uploading and downloading. To not
overburden a particular location’s Internet access with large video files, the content transfer can be scheduled
at low usage times such as 2:00-3:00AM. Therefore, a high bandwidth connection is not required and most
existing Internet connections will work satisfactory. Once the content is downloaded at the location it resides
on the In-ServNOWTM playback unit which operates similar to a DVR. Content is available for instant on-demand
access or automated scheduling at the discretion of the corporate office. An entire library can be distributed
and stored, ideal for breaking information, new hires or repetitive training.
Output of the In-ServNOWTM unit can be to a single TV or
multiple TV sets located in a training room or employee
break room using an HDMI cable or if used for resident
entertainment it may be modulated as a specific channel
and inserted into a SeniorTV cable TV channel line-up.
The Content Coordinator has complete control of each
