How it Works in the Body
Animal studies published in leading
research journals have found that Phase
3’s proprietary fiber works by inhibiting
the digestive enzyme, sucrase, delaying
the digestion and absorption of sucrose.
Although there is an intake of sugar
calories, the fiber prevents the sugar from
being broken down and turned into fat.
Human Research Studies
Recent human studies sponsored by Pharmachem have confirmed
the inhibitory effect of Phase 3 on sucrose, as well as insulin levels.
A pilot study concluded taking Phase 3 led to an average reduction
in glucose of 31.0% (p=<.001), using repeated measures statistical
analyses; and an average reduction in insulin levels of 32%
(p=0.0651), using repeated measures.
A clinical study of blood glucose levels concluded taking Phase 3
led to an average reduction in glucose of 24.3% (p=<.001), using
repeated measures; and an average of 18.4% (p= 0.0001) using the
area under the curve statistical analyses.
The same study showed that taking Phase 3 led to an average
reduction in insulin of 20.0% (p=.008) using repeated measures;
and an average of 28.2% (p=<0.01) using the area under the curve.
