1. Comment on Shakespeare’s views on love and friendship in the sonnets
prescribed for your study.
2. a) Discuss John Donne as a metaphysical poet with reference to the prescribed
poem.

3. a) Analyse Milton’s poem “On Shakespeare” from the point of view of style,
structure and theme.

Dutt’s ‘Our Casuarina Tree’ in the light of this statement.

10. a) Bring out the relationship between humanity and nature as explored in Frost’s
