When completed and in‐progress credit hours are 45 or
more, all declared business majors are required to take

Enrollment procedures for AES Department students:
1. All incoming freshmen and transfer students must
attend a college orientation and assessment session and
should be advised by an AES Department faculty member.
2. AES academic advising will be held on an appointment
basis.
3. The enrollment process must be completed in the
sequence above.
4. In order to register for a 3000 or 4000 level course,
each of the following conditions must be satisfied:
a) At time of registration, students must be classified
as a junior (at least 60 semester hours completed and/or
transfer work posted to the academic record);
b) All prerequisite courses must have been completed
and posted to the academic record or currently in
progress.
c) Prerequisite courses in progress must be
satisfactorily completed ('C' grade or better) or
students will be dropped from upper division courses.
d) If at the time of registration, these requirements
have not been satisfied, the student must contact the
ART
ARTH
department. Registration by exception will be done at
the AES Department Office.
5. Students who fail to attend the first two meetings of
a class will be dropped and may not rejoin that class
without permission of the instructor.
6. Students should note that the Aviation and
Aerospace Science faculty assigned to each class in this
schedule are subject to change without notice, due to
availability and scheduling requirements.

The Quantitative Literacy requirement of the General
Studies Program can be met by the courses MTH 1080,
MTH 1110, MTH 1112, MTH 1210, MTH 1310, or MTH 1610,
or most mathematics courses for which one of these
courses is a prerequisite. It is important to choose the
course that is appropriate for one's major. In addition,
students receiving an Accuplacer score defined
as marginal by the college have the option of taking
MTH 1080,MTH 1110, MTH 1112, or MTH 1310 by participating
in the Mathematics Peer Study Program. This program

at the Assessment and Testing Center located in TV 347.
