MCW Group of Companies finalizes
acquisition of Perez Engineering Ltd.
CANADA February 11, 2013 – The MCW Group of Companies announced today that Perez Engineering Ltd. of Vancouver, British Columbia has
now joined MCW Consultants Ltd.

of the MCW Group of Companies. Greg Lord, Managing Partner of the MCW Vancouver office adds, "We have not only added talented employees
and desirable customers, but we have expanded our presence in the key markets of British Columbia and Western Canada. This strengthening of
our regional presence will allow for continued growth in our multiple service offerings in the consulting engineering and energy management fields.
With this acquisition, MCW grows to over 350 men and women delivering our brand of services right across Canada.”
This new addition will become an integral part of MCW’s Vancouver operations, with all Perez staff being immediately consolidated into MCW’s
downtown Vancouver offices.
Willie Perez, the founder of Perez Engineering Ltd. and former Partner at Keen Engineering, has now become a Principal of the MCW Group of
Companies and will help grow their combined customer base in the institutional, commercial, health care and residential sectors. “Willie has been an
important contributor to the mechanical consulting engineering market in BC for almost 30 years.” says Lord. “He has built a reputation for
innovative systems that have advanced the field of building design locally. His approach to energy reduction and sustainability is very
complementary to MCW’s, helping make the firms a great fit.”
For his part, Perez, a one-time past employee of MCW, sees this amalgamation as a homecoming for himself and a great opportunity for the
employees and clients of Perez Engineering Ltd. “To be associated with a larger national organization provides the expanded capacity to undertake
a larger, more diversified range of projects.” Perez adds, “we look forward to making MCW an even more valuable design partner of choice.”
