Brose names 4flow management among
Top 3 service suppliers
Brose commends 4flow management services

At an annual Supplier Innovation Day that took place in Coburg,
Germany in mid-April, Brose recognized its top service suppliers.
The automotive supplier invited its most important suppliers to this
event and presented awards to the best in seven different categories. 4flow management was selected as a Top-3 supplier in the
“Brose Service Supplier” category. As part of the award-winning Integrated Transportation Management System (iTMS) project, 4flow
management handles integrated transportation management services for Brose as a neutral 4PL partner.
In addition to receiving the honors, 4flow management presented
the iTMS at the Supplier Innovation Day event held by Brose. A total of 12 specially selected suppliers that support and help drive the
innovative spirit of the Brose Group were invited to the event.
As a 4PL service provider, 4flow is responsible for continuously optimizing and managing transportation to and from all Brose locations, including Great Britain, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, and the
Czech Republic. The partnership paid off for Brose even during the
first year of the cooperation. During the pilot phase, transportation
costs in the double-digit percentage range were saved.
The cooperation first began in January 2012 at the Brose plant in
Ostrava, Czech Republic. Due to the excellent results, Brose opted
to expand the cooperation to all of its plants. “Working with 4flow
management, we have been greatly improving transparency in our
sourcing network, increasing service provider quality, and lowering
supply chain costs,” Oliver Karlein, project manager for the European rollout at Brose Central Logistics, commented on the cooperation. 4flow management coordinates 21 plants, 400 suppliers, and
more than 80,000 shipments a year for Brose. “Being honored as

one of the best suppliers by Brose attests to the innovativeness and
importance of our integrated transportation management concept,”
