MARGARET CHANDLER is a freshman Economics/ Business
Administration major making her first appearance at the McCoy. She is
a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and enjoys racquetball.
LEIGH ANN EVANS , a sophomore, is also a newcomer to the McCoy.
She has appeared as Kate in the "Miracle Worker" and Olivia in
"Twelfth Night." In addition to drama, Leigh Ann enjoys writing, skiing
and scuba diving.
STACY LEE DeZUTTER, a freshman, played clarinet in the orchestra
of "Wonderful Town." In her home town of Fern Park, Florida, she
played Rita in "No Boys Allowed" and Rose in "The Gift."
GAIL BLACK made her McCoy debut, in "Nicholas Nickleby." She has
been very active in Memphis theatre, both on the stage and in technical
capacities. Gail is a legal secretary and enjoys music, reading and
aerobics.
MICHELLE LEIGH DRY is a senior making her McCoy debut. She
helped with publicity for last season's "Nicholas Nickleby" and "The
Rivals." A Theatre/Media Arts major, Michelle also enjoys music and
water sports and is Editor of "The McCoy."
JULIANNE SCOBEY is a sophomore and a member of the McCoy
Company. She has helped backstage for "The Rivals" and "Wonderful
Town," but this marks her on-stage debut at the McCoy. Julianne's
hobbies and interests include communications and traveling.
ANJEANETTE JONES , known to all as '.,'Ajay," is a Rhodes freshman
making her McCoy debut. Her roles have included Essie in "You Can't
Take It with You" and Marie in "The Sound of Music." Ajay has also
served as an interpreter for the deaf.
JODY CASELLA is a sophomore English major at Rhodes who is
making her first appearance at the McCoy.
LEIGH ANN VAUGHN is a freshman making her debut at the McCoy.
Her high school credits include roles in "Annie," "You Can't Take It
With You" and "Absurd Person Singular." Leigh Ann is a member of
the Rhodes Singers.
LYDIA SUSAN ADAMS is a senior Psychology major who is returning
to the McCoy stage after appearing in "The Chalk Garden," "Beyond
Therapy" and "Twelfth Night." A member of ODK, Mortar Board, the
Honor Council, Kinney Program and Chi Omega sorority, Susan still
finds time to enjoy caving and rapelling.
ANNE-MARIE AKIN, a junior and member of the McCoy Company, is
a veteran of our stage. She has portrayed roles in "Gondoliers,"
"Love's Labour's Lost," "Nicholas Nickleby," "Cowardy Custard" and
"Wonderful Town." A student of voice, Anne-Marie has also pleased
audiences on campus with her songs.
MICHAEL UPDEGRAFF, a junior History major, is a member of the
McCoy Company. He returns to the McCoy stage after appearances in
"Love's Labour's Lost and "The Rivals." His memorable portrayal of
Smike in "Nicholas Nickleby" was awarded the Memphis Arts
Council/MEMPHIS Magazine Award for Best Actor.
MARTY STORY is a junior and a member of the McCoy Company in
charge of the McCoy's Stage Management Program: She appeared in
last season 's "Twelfth Night" and recently helped with "Snow White"
at Children's Theatre Memphis.
DAVID P. BRANDON is a freshman making his first appearance at the
McCoy'His past credits include roles in "Our Town" and "Sorry,
Wrong Number." David is a Pre-Architecture student, enjoys Spanish
and is a member of the Rhodes Singers.
ANASTASIA HERIN is a newcomer to the McCoy but a veteran of the
Memphis stage. Her numerous credits include roles in "I Remember
Mama," "Death Trap" and "The Royal Family." In addition, Anastasia
has also served as director of many shows. Presently, she is the head
of the department of Fine Arts and Speech at Shelby State.
