Position Concept
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for administration, support, ongoing
development, business analytics, integration, vendor management, and training as it
relates to Mile High United Way’s Salesforce implementation and its strategic goals. The
Administrator will document, prioritize, address and monitor problems to ensure a timely
resolution; work with other IT support team members to improve service, user
knowledge and user self-sufficiency while providing the highest level of customer care.
Additionally, the scope of responsibility includes contributing to the completion of
milestones associated with specific projects and providing solutions to a variety of
technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity.
Primary Responsibilities
• Administration- Manage Mile High United Way’s CRM database of record,
implemented on the Salesforce.com platform, for all organization users, and
manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
o Perform administration of organization’s Salesforce.com instance
including access permissions and rights assignment
o Regularly perform database de-duping and cleanup procedures
o Perform ad hoc data query downloads
o Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor
data quality and integrity
o Manage deployments from the Salesforce sandbox to the production
Salesforce environment
o Develop and communicate schedules for future database
releases/enhancements
• Process Discovery and Management- Work with organization departments
and end users to identify, document, communicate, and enhance standard
business processes as they relate to Salesforce and its strategic function
o Develop necessary reports as required by various organization
departments
• Training and Documentation- Develop training plans, materials, and
documentation for database users, keep materials up-to-date, coordinate new
user onboarding and ongoing training sessions and monitor user adoption
rates and respond as needed to improve adoption

Platform Integration- Work with the database team to integrate Salesforce
with Data Warehouse and Fundraising Database
Vendor Management- Manage ongoing relationship with Salesforce.com, the
Salesforce.com Foundation, and manage outsourced Salesforce.com
implementation partners as required
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, 3-5 years of
relevant work experience, and a minimum 2 years of experience with implementing and
administrating Salesforce solutions. Experience using Conga Composer and Conga
Conductor for Salesforce-integrated business solutions, and advanced Microsoft Office
are needed. Experience with Salesforce Enterprise, Performance or Unlimited Edition.
Certified Salesforce administrator preferred with experience with Salesforce integrated
applications: Cvent, ExactTarget, and GetFeedback. Experience developing and coding
Salesforce solution using APEX preferred.
