Research Interests
I am interested in eco-toxicological impacts of marine debris, specifically plastics. The oceans are a sink for
many pollutants. Plastics leach toxic pollutants upon degradation, and also adsorb POPs from surrounding ocean
water. As organisms consume plastic, these toxins potentially accumulate in marine foodwebs.
