Job Title: Overnight Baker (10pm-6am)

Panera Bread bakery-cafes showcase the art and craft of bread making, helping customers truly
appreciate and enjoy a great loaf of bread by studying its crust, crumb and craft. Panera Bread
understands that great bread makes great meals, from made-to-order sandwiches to tossed-toorder salads and soup served in bread bowls.
Position Summary: High volume, 'commercial-type' baking
Overnight baker position in each Panera Bread Bakery Cafe from 10pm to 6am daily. Extensive
paid training program (8 weeks).
Baking a variety of breads and sweets and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment in
the bakery cafe overnight. Proofing, shaping and handling of raw doughs and sweets that supply
the bakery cafe.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to...
- Pan up, prep, proof, bake and finish all breads and sweets
- Use of cafe equipment- double rack oven, proof box, deck ovens
- Maintain the bakery area daily and weekly detail cleaning
Qualifications:
- Prior food service experience preferred-BUT we will train the right person
- Baking and pastry or culinary degree preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
