With a 50 year history in Houston, Duchesne Academy, as part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, offers a collegepreparatory curriculum which draws on the natural curiosity and ability of students to help them experience a love of learning. We focus on the whole child--intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical. Our Goals and Criteria, along with our curriculum are strongly rooted in the Catholic doctrine; however our student population includes girls from many nationalities and religious denominations. This diversity adds a rich dimension to our learning environment. While Duchesne has a sense of seclusion in the Memorial area, it has become well-known locally and nationally as a 21st century school, firmly rooted in 200 year old Sacred Heart values.
