$50,000 REWARD
A $50,000 Reward is being offered in the following two cases:
1. On June 10, 1992, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was walking home in the
Yonge Street/Balliol Street area in the city of Toronto. It is alleged that a man followed her
into her apartment building and then into an elevator; at which time he brandished a handgun
and forced her into a stairwell. The man sexually assaulted her at gun-point and fled the scene
in an unknown direction. The woman assisted the Toronto Police Service’s forensic artist in
producing a composite sketch of the man.
2. On May 3, 1985, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a 34-year-old woman was walking towards her
vehicle in a multi-level parking garage on West Pender Street in the city of Vancouver. It is
alleged that a man approached her, sexually assaulted her and robbed her.
The forensic evidence in the above investigations has conclusively shown that the same man is responsible
for both crimes. He has never been identified.
In 1985, the man was described as: white, 25-30, 5’7”- 5’9”, with blonde, collar- length hair.
In 1992, the man was described as: white, 25 -35, 5’4”, medium build, 150 – 160 lbs., small round face,
brown or hazel eyes, collar-length light brown hair parted in the middle and feathered on the sides. He
was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
