Eligibility for UCLA Students
Must be enrolled in 12 units at UCLA by start of instruction (crosscampus units not included in 12-unit requirement)
Must have fees paid by start of instruction
Must be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or greater)
Must have no holds
May only enroll in one cross-campus course per term
Eligibility for Other UC Students
Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for eligible students only through their home
campus. Students eligible for veterans, rehabilitation, Social Security, and
other federal, state, or county benefits must secure eligibility certification
through their home campus.
Tuition and Fees
There is no additional tuition charge; however, additional course materials
fees may be assessed by the host campus.
Other UC students follow eligibility requirements of their home campus.
Advising
Calendar: Instruction Start and End Dates
Students are strongly encouraged to consult with their counselor or adviser
to confirm applicability of the course toward their degree.
Note that semester and quarter instruction dates vary by campus. Check
each campus’ calendar for specific dates.
GPA
Courses are calculated in the UC GPA.
Study List Limit
Cross-campus units are included in College and school study list limits.
Requisites
Students are responsible for completing requisites prior to starting the
course.
Add/Drop and Grade Change Deadlines
Deadlines vary by campus and by semester and quarter calendar. Consult
the course syllabus. Students are dropped if they do not meet eligibility
requirements.
Transcript
Following the completion of the course, a transcript from the host campus is
sent automatically to UCLA.
Student Code of Conduct
Students must follow the policies and student code of conduct of the campus
offering the course.
