Sheboygan Falls Middle School Above the Line / Below the Line Discipline Plan Above the Line (positive) Observe safe behaviors Respect school property and property of others Observe laws of the state and community Use appropriate language Consume beverages/food in cafeteria only Be honest and respectful of themselves and other students Below the Line (Negative dealt with by staff member) Students who exhibit Below the Line behavior will be subject to consequences to include a verbal warning, a fix-it plan, and parental contact Running in halls Physical contact involving other students, throwing objects Defacing books, lockers, desks, or any destruction of personal property Swearing, put-downs, and talking back to adults Gum chewing Open beverage bottles in lockers and eating in hallways Use of skateboards, squirt guns, unauthorized electronic devices, etc. Bottom Line (Negative dealt with by Principal) Students who exhibit Bottom Line behavior will be subject to consequences to include, but are not limited to detention, Saturday detention, Restorative Justice, in-school suspension, out-of-school suspension, expulsion, and police referral Illegal Behavior Disrespectful/abusive language toward a student or staff member Harassment/bullying Gang-related activity Unsafe activity Fighting or other physically aggressive behavior Violence Threatening behavior Insubordination Cheating/lying
