Everlast with Nike Grind is FloorScore
certified. This means that our products are in
compliance with rigorous indoor air quality
emission requirements. Volatile organic
compounds (VOCs) are evaluated using
health based specifications. Flooring and
adhesives that earn FloorScore certification
qualify for use in high performance schools
and office buildings. Everlast sports surfacing
with Nike Grind also meets the Collaborative
for High Performance Schools (CHPS) criteria,
the State of Washington standard for indoor
air quality, and supports the ASTM E2129-05
Sustainability Assessment.
Everlast sports surfacing with Nike Grind is
comprised of post-consumer tire rubber, pre
and post-consumer Nike Grind, and ColorMill
EPDM. These materials are bound together
using a polyurethane pre-polymer. The
entire product line is produced using a low
embodied energy manufacturing process
that requires minimal water, avoids heat,
and reuses in-line scrap to decrease waste.
The result is durable, environmentally
savvy sports surfacing that passes the most
stringent tests for indoor air quality, low-VOC
emissions, and is PVC free.

The United States Green Building Council’s
Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.
However, while products have the potential
to contribute points to LEED, credits are
based on the performance of all the products
involved in a particular project. There is not
one stand-alone product that can guarantee
you will obtain LEED credits. It is the
combination, and the weight of each, that is
critical. Everlast with Nike Grind is designed

Everlast is proud to announce its partnership
with the Nike Corporation. Beginning in 2009, all
Everlast sports surfacing products now include
Nike Grind Rubber. Nike Grind Rubber is made
from sports footwear manufacturing by-products
as well as post-consumer athletic shoes collected
through the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program. The
Nike Grind material is processed and refined
using technology developed by Nike engineers.
The Nike Grind material is blended with premium
recycled tire rubber to create Everlast sports
surfacing products. By using Nike Grind material
in Everlast sports surfacing products, nearly
300,000 pounds of unused Nike footwear byproducts and unwanted athletic shoes will be
rescued from landfills each year. The Everlast/Nike
partnership demonstrates our companies’ shared
commitment to preserving the environment and
using our resources responsibly.

E-Grip III is a revolutionary zeroVOC adhesive. The new low odor,
one-component urethane adhesive
is formulated specifically for use with
ECORE’s family of surfacing products.
E-Grip III features excellent trowelability
and improved tack properties, so it’s easy
to apply and keeps seams flat and secure.
Its moisture-cured, no-mix, non-sag, and
permanently elastic formula provides
excellent adhesion to elastomers,
concrete, and wood in both indoor
and outdoor applications.
E-Grip III flooring adhesive also meets
the Collaborative for High Performance
Schools (CHPS) criteria (Section 01350)
for indoor air quality in classrooms as
described in the State of California’s
Department of Health Services Standard
Practice. The emission test followed the
California Department of Health Services
“Standard Practice for the Testing of

Adhesive
ECORE developed E-Grip™ III, an easy-to-use one-part polyurethane adhesive, for adhering Everlast flooring to various substrates with
moisture content up to 5.5 lbs. Only an ECORE approved adhesive should be used. E-Grip III’s coverage is approximately 95 sq. ft./gal
(1/16” square notch trowel) depending on substrate conditions and is available in 2 or 4 gallon pails.
Cleaning and Maintenance
All Everlast flooring systems must be maintained as recommended. The type and frequency of maintenance will vary according
to maintenance equipment and desired appearance of product. Detailed maintenance instructions are available at
www.everlastsportssurfacing.com or through your Everlast representative.
Warranty
All ECORE International rubber flooring is guaranteed by ECORE International to be free from manufacturing defects on both material and
workmanship. If such a defect is discovered, the customer must notify ECORE either through the contracting installer, distributor, or directly.
If found to be defective within three years under normal non-abusive conditions, the sole remedy against the seller will be the replacement
or repair of the defective goods or at the seller’s option, credit may be issued not exceeding the selling price of the defective goods.
Everlast warranty shall not cover dissatisfaction due to improper installation, damage from improper maintenance or usage, or general
misuse, including and without limitation: burns, cuts, tears, scratches, scuffs, damage from rolling loads, damage from cleaning products not
recommended by ECORE, shade variations due to exposure to direct sunlight, or differences in color between samples or photographs and
actual flooring.
