Congratulations  Aspirations  in  Computing  Award  Winner!
The University of Massachusetts Amherst Computer Science
Department is pleased to offer five $5,000 scholarships to Aspirations in Computing award winners. This $5,000 scholarship will be allocated over four years ($1,250 per year) to award winners who are successfully pursuing their degree in computer science. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
♦ Be accepted and enroll at UMass Amherst for a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
♦ Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in each semester
♦ Take at least two courses required for the major per semester
In addition, if you complete your Computer Science Bachelors degree with an overall GPA of at least 3.60, the Department of Computer
Science offers a Bay State Fellowship, which includes a tuition-free twoyear Masters degree, accompanied by a half assistantship.
