MEDIA RELEASE For Immediate Release Alberta’s Best Trade and Technology Students to Compete at Nationals EDMONTON, Alberta — May 22, 2013 – 700 High School and Post-Secondary students competed in the 21st Provincial Skills Canada Competition on May 15-16, 2013 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Students competed in 43 trade and technology competitions. Over 10,000 spectators showed their support and took part in Try-A-Trades® to find their own interests in the trades. At the PSCC, 62 students earned a position on Team Alberta and will represent the province at the Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC), June 5-8, 2013 in Vancouver.
