1. Activities in Japan
(1) Organize Symposium on “World LNG Market” on October 16, 2012.
(2) Organize “Power Talk” lecture meeting series exclusively for JEA members
(3)Publications
Publish journal of “Energy” 3 times a year for introduction of technical papers.
Publish “Newsletter” bi-monthly to introduce activities of WEC and JEA .
2. Activities in Overseas
(1) Participation in WEC Executive Assembly to be held in Monte Carlo, Monaco in November 2012
(2) Participation in “WEC World Energy Leaders Summit”
(3) Activities in cooperation with WEC Global & Regional Agendas, including “Energy & Climate Country
Policy”, “2050 Global Energy Scenarios”, “Survey of Energy Resources & Technologies”, “Energy
Access”, “Energy & Urban Innovation” and “Global Energy Framework”.
(4) Activities in cooperation with WEC Knowledge Network focusing on “Energy and Mobility”, “Energy
Efficiency”, “Innovative Financing Mechanism”, “Rules of Trade”, “Village Inventory”, “Performance of
Power Generating Plants” and “Cleaner Fossil Fuel Systems”.
(5) Activities in cooperation with WEC Asia Regional Agenda activities and to lead “Challenges to Efficient
and Clean Use of Coal in Asian Region”.
