What do you want to do?
I am the Instructor of Record for a University of Houston course. I have already requested my
course to be on Blackboard Vista. I would like to…
1. Add a header and
2. Add a footer to my course homepage.
Adding a Header
1.1
Within the “Build” tab
(toward the right side of the
page), click on
“Page Options” and
“Edit Header.”
1.2 A
A “Create or Edit Header”
window will appear.
If you would like to add a
plain header, type your text
in the textbox.
Example text:
CUIN 3121: Educational
Technology for Adolescents
Instructor: Velvette
Laurence
Click the “Save” button.
NOTE: If you plan to reuse the blackboard course shell next
semester, I would suggest to not include the current
semester. Keep the header as general as possible.
