IMPORTANT COURSE CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT: Beginning Fall 2009 the Department
of Biological Sciences will introduce a new two-semester Introduction to Biology series
for majors. At that time, ZOOL 1050/1052 and BOTY 1050/1052 will be discontinued. It
will be required to have completed both ZOOL 1050/1052 and BOTY 1050/1052 to
have the introductory requirement met. Any student having only one of these courses
completed will be required to take both of the new courses. Fall 2009 is the last
semester that ZOOL 1050/1052 and BOTY 1050/1052 will be offered, so be sure to put
in the effort required to pass both of these classes on your first try.
