Pre-conference masterclass for retailers
24th February 2009, ICO Conference Centre, London W1
Implementing an effective
recycling strategy
With landfill tax, environmental legislation and retailer
obligations on the rise, the cost implications for retailers
who don’t reduce and recycle more waste are significant. In
this difficult economic climate can you really afford to pay
more to dispose of your waste?
Without the influence and infrastructure of the UK’s largest retailers,
small-to-medium sized enterprises often struggle to find a cost
effective solution to their recycling needs. This interactive half day
workshop provides you with the opportunity to discuss with other
retailers, ask questions, and come up with solutions to your recycling
problems. Leading recycling consultants the green house will facilitate
the day and offer you their expertise on how you could devise a
recycling strategy which suits your needs.
In response, MRW and Retail Week have once again joined
forces to bring you the 5th annual Recycling Retail Waste
conference, offering you an interactive forum to discuss,
debate and discover the latest approaches to improve
recycling within your stores.
Facilitators: Philip Mossop, Co-founder and Development Director and
Robert Twiselton, Managing Director, the green house
Speaker: Toby Morgan, Values Manager
The Body Shop International
