Master of Business Analytics
The Schulich Master of Business Analytics degree is
an intensive 12 month program. Rigorous study in
mathematics and statistics, quantitative and advanced
computational methods and data analysis is paired with
the development of a strategic mindset and high-level
communication and business management skills needed
to succeed in the emerging field of business analytics.
Predictive, Descriptive and Prescriptive Analysis
You will develop the quantitative and technical skills
the industry demands. You will learn to identify patterns
as well as interpret and gain insights from structured and
unstructured data. You will also learn to communicate
your findings in practical terms. You will study all areas
of data analysis: predictive (forecasting), descriptive
(business intelligence and data mining) and prescriptive
(optimization and simulation).

Real-World Curriculum
You will study from a curriculum developed in consultation
with an advisory group of senior executives who are leaders
in the emerging field of business analytics. Industry
experts will visit your classroom during the Analytics
Consulting course to speak about the latest industry
trends and share their experiences working on real-world
projects. Your capstone will be a Major Research Project
in which you will focus on hands-on, solutions-driven
research while embedded within a company.
Three Fields of Study
You will complete a common core of courses and
then choose one of three fields of study: Supply Chain
Management, Marketing or a General Stream. Students
must complete four elective courses within a given field
to specialize in that area.
