RESIDENTIAL LOA CONTEST
Thanks for your enthusiastic response to
the Residential LOA Contest, which ends
on July 31. Remember that only provisioned LOAs will be counted, and customers must make their first call on the
new Qwest® account by August 21 for the
LOA to qualify for the contest. Winners of
the iPhones will be announced in
September and recognized at the October
Convention. Much appreciation to Qwest
for sponsoring the contest!
PLANET BUSINESS PROMOTION
The 6.9¢/minute promotion in June and
July on the Planet Business product also
received a fantastic response. This has provided an excellent tool for acquiring new
customers. In late July, we will announce
what will follow the 6.9¢ promotion that
ends on July 31. Be sure to check the website for updates. In the meantime, let’s keep
the excitement growing for this small
office/home office LD solution.
PLANET BUSINESS LOAs
A new version of the Planet Business LOA
has been published. Please begin using the
new form immediately. The forms have
been simplified for easier business signups.
Also, you’ll notice that the new form asks
for estimated monthly usage. This information helps Qwest improve forecasting
and customer service.

Compensation Plan Definitions:
Activity: For most bonuses, a
Representative is required to meet certain
personal activity requirements. A Big
Planet Representative is active when
he/she accumulates 10CC or 100PV.
Customer Connections or CCs are the
cumulative total of the Representatives
own service subscriptions and the service
subscriptions of his/her personal customers. Personal Volume is the cumulative
PV of the Big Planet Representative and
his/her personal customers, generated
through store purchases and/or subscriptions to any of Big Planet’s recurring
services.
CAB: A CAB is a Customer Acquisition
Bonus paid to the Big Planet
Representative for signing customers on
Big Planet’s core services i.e., Internet
Access and Long Distance. CABs are paid
regardless of activity.
Example:
Big Planet Access Unlimited Internet
Service is $19.95 per month and has a $20
Customer Acquisition Bonus.*
Big Planet Access Pro Internet Service is
$24.95 per month and has a $25 Customer
Acquisition Bonus.*
*Internet Service CABs are paid the month following
service signup.
Big Planet Long Distance accounts, both
residential and commercial, qualify for a
$5 CAB paid when long distance
switchover is confirmed by Qwest®. All
long distance CABs are paid in $50 increments.
PV: PV is the point value assigned to the
purchase of Big Planet products and services upon which bonus calculations are
based. Personal Volume is the cumulative
value of a Big Planet Representative’s personal and customer purchases and
subscriptions.
CC: A CC or connection is created every
time you or a customer subscribes to any
recurring Big Planet service.
Example:
A Big Planet customer subscribes to Big
Planet Internet Service and Big Planet
Long Distance. This customer has 2CCs.
GV: The cumulative PV of all Big Planet
Representatives in an Executive Group.
Executive Group: All Representatives in
your sales organization who have not
achieved the Executive title, down to the
next qualified Executive Group.

Breakaway Executive: A Breakaway
Executive is a Representative in your
downline organization who has also qualified as an Executive through Big Planet’s
Executive Qualification Program.

RESIDENTIAL LONG DISTANCE
Third Party Verification (TPV) is necessary
whenever a Big Planet residential long distance customer places an order by calling
1.800.211.6300. When ordering residential
long distance over the phone, your customers will be transferred to a TPV representative to finalize the order.
TPV is also required for Planet One customers using the paper LOA and requesting residential long distance service in
California, Texas, New York, Illinois,
Florida, and Missouri. Those customers
should call one of the following phone
numbers to complete the TPV process:

for a Location I.D., the customer should
respond with “0.” Please make sure your
customers have this information when calling TPV for residential orders.
COMMERCIAL LONG DISTANCE
As of May 1, TPV is required for Planet
Business customers requesting commercial
long distance service in Texas, New York,
Illinois, Florida, and Missouri.
» The new toll-free number for Planet
Business TPV calls is 1.800.838.7216.
Calls should be made no later than the
same day the order is submitted to Big
Planet.
» During the TPV call, the TPV representative will ask the customer for the following specific identification numbers.
When asked for a Sales Rep I.D., the
customer should respond with “96EW.”
When asked for a Location I.D., the customer should respond with “0.” Please
make sure your customers have this
information when calling TPV for commercial orders.
» TPV representatives will issue a confirmation number at the end of each

Here’s a quick recap
of an unbelievable day
for Trudi Hatch, realizing the incredible
potential for earnings
with Long Distance.
“At 9 A.M., I met
with a gentleman
about Long Distance,
TRUDI HATCH
and he loved the rates.
Tremonton, UT
His secretary overheard us, so she switched along with him. Then
the gentleman called his parents, and they
switched on the spot as well. At that point, he
gave me a list of referrals, so I stopped by to
meet one of them, and she switched herself and
her business. That made five connections in
about two hours.
Next, I called four more people, and they all
signed up, too. So on my way to settle the new
accounts, I ran into a friend from my old neighborhood. Of course, by now I was having a great
day, so I had to share it with her. And lo and
behold, she wanted me to head over to her new
house to see her phone bill. That made another
five connections by 6 P.M.
From there, I had to head to Ogden, and on
my way down, I stopped by the pet store, which
I had approached a week or so earlier. I did a
casual follow-up while I was there, and it was
my lucky day!
If the LOAs were not in front of me right now,
I would not believe it myself. But sure enough,
11 business LOAs (22 connections) in one day!
