Abigail Moore with her All California Academic First Team medallion Student Veteran Shines to Win “Bright Mind” Scholarship One of Only 10 Winners from More Than 8,000 Applicants Student Veteran Julian Alvarez was named a "PG&E Bright Mind" and received $30,000 a year for five years to continue his education. Only 10 people out of more than 8,000 applicants were awarded the PG&E Bright Minds Scholarship. He is a member of the Student Veterans Organization, a member of the Psychology Club, and is part of PSI BETA. He was featured in a story on ABC KGO-TV. Congratulations to Our Scholar Athlete Kyle Suchland Stanford University to Present Work by Six Honors Students Congratulations to our six students whose projects have been accepted for presentation at the sixth annual Community College Research Symposium at Stanford University: Natalie Craig, Brenna Gomer, Christine Kelly, Rafi Ansari, Candy Wager, and Tyler Hayden. Honors Transfer Program Coordinator Candy Klaschus noted that 185 proposals from across California were submitted and only 84 were chosen.
