News from the Library A Newsletter of Central Carolina Community College Library Summer By Joan Adams Burchell Color has exploded everywhere the eye can see; Summer is smiling down on us wherever we may be. Gentle breezes, refreshing rain, and the dancing sun take part In giving earth the summer touch tonic for the heart. New Library Staff Members Elizabeth Budny has recently taken the position of Library Secretary. Elizabeth is no stranger to the library since she was a work study student here during the 2004 Spring semester. A native of New Mexico, she has a B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of New Mexico and in 2004 received the Paralegal Technology Diploma from CCCC. Roxann Granger has been the evening library assistant at the Harnett campus library for several months. She usually works two nights a week. Roxann is also an instructor in the ABE program at Harnett Correctional Institute and a courtroom bailiff in Harnett County. She has a bachelor's degree in religion and a master's degree in Christian education from Campbell University.
