Pick two elements from the periodic table. 2. Place a sheet of 12- by 18-inch white construction paper in front of you vertically. Draw a line two inches from the bottom of the paper. Fold the paper upward along this line. 3. Fold the top of the paper down and tuck it behind the bottom flap. It will look like a closed matchbook. Completing the Element Tile 1. Write the name of the element on the two-inch flap at the bottom. On the upper flap, write the symbol, atomic number, and atomic mass. 2. Lift the upper flap. Print out a picture from the Internet of products that use the element or is made from the element. Glue the picture on the upper panel. Next to the picture, describe how the element is used in the product. 3. On the lower panel, write a paragraph about how the element fits into the periodic table, its characteristics and attributes, its natural state, who discovered the element and when, and other related information. Include a drawing/picture of Bohr’s model or the Cloud model.
