• From the sheet, consider the beliefs of
the Puritans and Elizabeth’s reaction to
them (p.1). In groups, devise pro-Puritan
logos and slogans to represent their views.
• For some – anti- Puritan propaganda from
the Government
• (LC) Progress Board analysis. Selected
students to present.

• Study pages 2, 3 and 4 of the booklet
(points A,C,E,F,G,1,8).
• Prepare a bullet point argument suggesting
that either the Puritans posed significant
opposition to Elizabeth or the opposite
