Create a “3D Form” exploration using yellow/pink/
blue FOAM
Establish your parting lines on your foam model.
Have an idea of areas of textures and surface
finishes.
Establish the Draft angle required by the tool shop
Establish 3D curves in CAD with reference to the
parting line geometry
Incorporate the draft angles in your cross-section
curves.
Try to establish 4 sided patch boundaries, and
tangencies on corresponding surfaces
Your surfaces are only as good as your original
curves !!
