Instructional Design/Technology Consultant Scope of Service: Curry College is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer/Technologist to direct and train faculty to design and deliver course content in a blended and/or online format using current College technologies for the fall semester 2013, with possible continuation into the spring. This individual will assist faculty in applying and integrating the appropriate technological tools into courses and train faculty in the application, use and integration of these technological tools. Provide expertise, assistance and support to individual faculty and to academic programs that are transitioning to a flipped classroom, blended and online learning delivery with course redesign Assist faculty with course redesign and technology integration within traditional course delivery environment Develop and offer faculty training sessions in the use and application of academic technology (e.g., BlackBoard CMS, lecture capture software, e‐portfolios) Design and deliver technology assessment and training modules for faculty Develop tutorials, guidesheets, and documentation for software applications and upgrades for faculty use. Skills: Experience with development of and implementation of new initiatives in instructional design and technology particularly in hybrid/blended formats Expertise in course design and working knowledge of learning outcomes and assessment Experience in instructional design and e‐learning principles, knowledge of course management systems, e‐portfolio, lecture capture, and other academic software Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, particularly in explaining and teaching technical subjects to non‐technical end users Education: Education: Masters Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field, either completed or in progress.
