Network Configuration Please connect your modem to the computer for configuration of your ADSL Connection and turn power on. 2.4 Enter your Customer IP Address, Gateway IP Address and DNS Servers IP Addresses which are provided in the Letter, delivered with the modem: Select Use the following IP Address (a) IP Address: 192.168.0.2 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (b) Select Use the following DNS Server addresses Preferred DNS Server: 203.12.160.35 Alternate DNS Server: 203.12.160.36 Click OK to save settings and then click OK again RS-232 console port used RS-232 console port used for configuration for configuration Connect Power Adapter ADSL port connect ADSL cable 2.1 Select: Start -> Settings -> Network Connections 2.2 Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties Your Network Configuration has now been completed and you may start using the TPG ADSL service. Note: This next section is optional for re-configuring the Dlink DSL504 modem. The modem will already be preconfigured by TPG. 3. Modem Configuration – optional Un-tick IP Unnumbered then enter the Customer IP Address, Subnet mask and Gateway IP Address that is provided in the letter with the modem. 3.1 Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar on a web browser page (eg. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc). A login prompt will then ask for a username and password. Enter the username as "admin" and password as admin. Click OK to save the settings and reboot the modem. 3.2 In Router/Bridge Configuration, select connection profile: 5 AU_IPoA, VPI=8, VCI=35, Routed with IPoA. Your Network Configuration is completed and you can start using the TPG Service.
