Responsibilities included the overall clinical operation of Caleo Centre, the outpatient clinic of the association; the housing program of group homes and apartments for chronically mentally ill adults; the case management program and the social club program. Developed and supervised a forensic unit with specialty programs including a juvenile sex offenders program, clinical 2 services to the Warren and Washington county jails and comprehensive child custody evaluations. 1989 - 1993 Director The Center for Psychotherapy Clifton Park, New York Developed and staffed a multidisciplinary group private practice providing services in a broad range of areas including sleep disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, and adoption related issues. Various modalities of treatment are offered to individuals, couples and families. 1988 - 1990 Chief of Psychology Conifer Park Scotia, New York Responsibilities included the administrative and clinical functioning of the psychology department in a 225-bed alcohol and chemical dependency treatment facility. Specific duties included directing the activities and providing supervision for doctoral and masters level psychologists, chairing an interdisciplinary facilitywide patient care monitoring committee which assesses clinical treatment for the dual diagnosis patient, and developing new structures and policies for an increasingly diverse patient population. 1977 - 1988 Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy Brooklyn, New York Clinical Director (1985-1988) Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy On-Site Mental Health Program Responsibilities included structuring, staffing and supervising the delivery of clinical services at designated public schools within District 17 as part of a larger, city-wide program sponsored by the New York City Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Alcoholism Services in collaboration with the Division of Special Education of the New York City Board of Education. Specific duties included directing activities of a multidisciplinary staff of social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, conducting case conferences, supervising the psychotherapy of children and their families, visiting school sites, approving treatment settings, establishing cooperative relations with school personnel, and speaking at school conferences. 3 Director of Clinical Services (1987 – 1988) New Directions, Alcohol Treatment Program A division of the Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy Responsibilities included the development, structuring, staffing and clinical supervision of an innovative outpatient alcohol treatment program licensed by the New York State Division of Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse. Specific duties included directing the clinical activities of an interdisciplinary staff, directing case conferences, conducting in-service training and utilization review and developing new organizational structures and policies with respect to the evolving needs of the program.
