Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will coordinate with several different team members within the office and will
need to serve both internal and external customers. The job will involve a full range of marketing
functions including market analysis, creating marketing plans, creating and managing a marketing
budget, creating marketing materials, conducting direct marketing campaigns, developing and managing
website/social media marketing, managing public relations, developing and managing branding,
planning marketing events, and providing support services for the sales and leasing team.
Responsibilities:
•
Create property-specific marketing plans and budgets with relevant team members.
•
Perform detailed market research and analysis – demographics, housing reports, traffic counts,
demand drivers, etc. Organize information into presentable, effective marketing formats.
•
Create/produce detailed maps and aerials for marketing to specific prospects/clients.
•
Use PhotoShop, Publisher, Word and other relevant software programs to create and update
marketing materials.
•
Update listings on websites, flyers, marketing databases, etc.
•
Create, implement and manage social media marketing strategy.
•
Implement retailer marketing database to be used effectively for direct marketing campaigns.
•
Develop relationships with media outlets, work with reporters, and handle all PR (including
writing press releases).
•
Work with various vendors and customers – signage vendors, architects, brokers, marketing
firms, brokers, tenants, etc.
•
Represent Galaxy professionally on a daily basis and at industry events to effectively market the
company and its properties.
•
Read local and national publications to identify expanding tenants and other opportunities.
•
Provide assistance to sales and leasing team when needed for responding to individual
prospects.
Requirements & Skill Sets:
•
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing or related field.
•
Impeccable writing skills.
•
Ability to clearly communicate with a wide variety of individuals and organizations.
•
Enthusiastic, positively minded attitude necessary to work in a team-based environment.
•
Creative abilities and mindset.
•
Graphic design skills.
•
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and assignments.
•
Ability to work with separate team members toward project completion in a timely manner.
•
A self-starter who can manage his/her own time and run well without direction.
•
Attention to detail necessary for professional end products.
•
Social media experience and knowledge.
•
An understanding of the needs and decision drivers for Galaxy’s clients and partners.
•
Skilled in PhotoShop, Publisher, Word and/or other relevant design programs.
•
Preferably have working knowledge of real estate marketing and research platforms (i.e. CoStar,
Loopnet, etc.)
