Ian Bresland Proprietor Service Above Self from 3 decades of the Bresland family Fatcat’s Teddy Bears Picnic and Fair was an initiative of the Rotary club of Morley and Telethon. A Tea¬m’s role was the planning, design and production of all printed and published materials for the event. Initially with some collaboration with Channel 7 and Telethon the logo was designed. A Team then designed and produced the products required. Event : Teddy Bear Picnic Printed materials produced included raffle tickets, flyers for letter box drops, posters, banners. signage for stalls and directions, meal vouchers, volunteer briefing sheets, stall meal tickets, large onsite map display, name badges, letterheads and with comp slips, presentation folders, stall holder notes and applications, ride coupons, Certificates of appreciation and Final report. Other Products designed - Website, newspaper adds, tee shirts, collection tins etc. The project was conducted over about 8 months, over 50000 flyers were distributed, 4 different kinds. Banners were displayed on roadsides and various other places. Raffle tickets were sold everywhere with associated signage. The event was attended by around 7000 to 8000 people and raised $20000 dollars for Telethon and $8000 dollars for The Royal Flying Doctor Service. Printing Tips Bleed Bleed is when the image runs past the trim marks as explained in the example 1. Example 2 is when a job is supplied without bleed and trim marks.
