Technology Showcase printouts for Poster Board.

You are required to purchase a poster/display board for Technology
Showcase as a class project – Project 7.
Based on the extent of your participation, you will receive credit for
PROJECT 7. Rubric will be discussed in class on Friday, May 11, 2007.
The Technology Showcase is Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 3:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m.
REMINDER:
The Technology Showcase is the capstone event for all students in Dr. Shegog’s classes.
Students will give presentations and provide hands-on computer training for parents.
Students are required to submit a poster board displays projects, assignments, lessons, timings,
etc. from their class and attend the event. All students should be prepared to give a minipresentation and hands-on lesson about a topic selected in class. This will comprise PROJECT
7 – The final project. A rubric for this project will be distributed on Monday, May 14,
2007.

To review concepts for the Final Exam (Quarter 3).

During the next two weeks, students will complete a business plan. Students will be given a
sample business plan (Organic Restaurant Business Plan) and several handouts to assist them in
preparing the business plan. Students will also research their business online and visit websites
of similar businesses. Students should begin collecting and designing items for the Appendix

Photoshop – Group Project 1 (Creating Images Using Photoshop Tools)
Instructions: In small groups, design or enhance an image or photo. Write the steps that you used to
create the new image. Each person is responsible for creating his/her the new image, using the steps
identified by the group, at the computer.
