Dear Parents and Guardians:
Just as a reminder, our Spring Concert will be held on Thursday, May 8,
2014 at 7:00pm in the SES Auditorium. This concert will include our 5th grade
choral ensemble, The Spartan Singers, AND our 4th grade choral ensemble, The
Treble Makers.
Because of the large number of participants, and limited capacity in the
SES Auditorium, we will be giving out THREE TICKETS PER FAMILY. If you do
not need all three, we are asking that you return any extra tickets so we can offer
them to our larger families. Tickets will be distributed to the students after April
Recess.
In order to accommodate those families who have performers in both the
instrumental and choral programs, we are holding the choral and instrumental
concert on the same night, but at different times. Our Beginner and Advanced
Band students will be performing before the choruses from 6:00-7:00pm. We are
going to consider these two SEPARATE performances, so families that have
students in both concerts will receive tickets to each show.
As always if you have any questions, please feel free to email me or check
out my website. I have provided calendars on the backside of this letter to inform
you of our remaining rehearsal dates for each choral ensemble. Please make
note of the combined rehearsals for BOTH 4th and 5th graders! A notice will be
sent home when we get closer to the concert date regarding concert attire, arrival
time and any additional ticket information. I look forward to seeing you in May!
Sincerely,
Alicia M. Santavenere
