Does each body paragraph begin with a topic sentence? 16. Is the History/Evolution section presented chronologically? 17. Is the Effectiveness section paragraph organized effectively and present a clear, substantiated opinion? 18. Is the Recommendation section organized effectively and present a clear, substantiated recommendation, referencing the represented country’s population stats where appropriate? 19. Does each body paragraph end with a concluding sentence? 20. Does each body paragraph consistently relate to its topic sentence? 21. Does each body paragraph prove/support its topic sentence? 22. If a research paper, are quoted, paraphrased, and summarized ideas from sources cited properly and correctly? 23. Is the verb tense consistent throughout the paper? 24. Does the essay leave out phrases like “In this essay I will be talking about ….”? 25.
