In life, a lot of people try to find something which makes them feel good. We all have
things we like to do, things which we are passionate about.
My passion is watching movies. Why movies? Well, I guess because movies are the
same as books. First, from each movie you learn something and secondly, they also bring
me comfort. If I’m ever stressed about an exam, or in the mood for a good laugh, a movie
is always my go-to escape. Since I was small I liked watching movies with my parents or
with a friend, and, at the end of each movie, I’ve always liked to interpret the movie and
the story so that I can extract the moral from it. There are many types of movies like:
drama, comedy, horror, action, science fiction, documentaries or historical films. I
especially like comedies, but I also like documentaries or action films. I’ve always
known how to appreciate a film which has a good story-line or a good plot. If I had to
make a list of my favorites movies I would include: ,,Forest Gump'', ,,Stalingrad'' ,
,,Gladiator'', ,,Lord of The Rings'' and ,,Harry Potter''. Each of them can teach you an
important lesson. Forest Gump is a drama which thought me about the ups and downs of
the life, of how a little man could become a famous one. Stalingrad thought me about the
history of our world and a little part, of course, of the World War II. Gladiator thought
me about the old times and the similarities of the man kind in the past and in the present
and Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter thought me about the importance of the
friendship.
There are many examples of good movies and there are a lot of things I would say
about different movies. All of them have a story, a plot and characters, time and space
and so on, but I’m sure I will always know how to recognize a good film.
